J’attends depuis 7 mois le keynote Apple qui devait annoncer les nouveaux MacBook Pro ! Ces derniers-jours, j’\u00e9tais comme un fou avec le rumeurs incessantes des nouvelles machines qui allaient pointer le bout de leur nez et, comme toujours…qui allaient tout r\u00e9volutionner ! Mais est-ce vraiment le cas ? Que nous a pondu Apple pour f\u00eater les 25 ans du mac ?<\/p>\n

Si vous cherchez les caract\u00e9ristiques des nouvelles machines, ce n’est pas ici que vous en trouverez le d\u00e9tail. Je souhaite \u00e9voquer la sortie des produits tout juste sortis, ce qu’ils apportent, ce qu’ils enl\u00e8vent et pour finir, donner mon point de vue.<\/p>\n

Je suis tr\u00e8s partag\u00e9 sur ces Macbook Pro. Il y a des choses vraiment int\u00e9ressantes et d’autres qui posent questions…<\/p>\n

La grande nouveaut\u00e9 qui a fait son effet, c’est la Touch Bar. Une barre OLED au-dessus du clavier, qui remplace les touches de fonctions (F1, F2…). Nous avons donc \u00e0 la place, une sorte d’\u00e9cran tout droit venu de l’Apple Watch (qui fonctionne d’ailleurs avec un OS similaire) qui va proposer diff\u00e9rentes fonctions comme des raccourcis mais qui va surtout s’adapter \u00e0 chaque application, au Finder, etc. Je trouve l’id\u00e9e tr\u00e8s bonne, \u00e0 partir du moment o\u00f9 l’on peut la configurer et param\u00e9trer soi-m\u00eame. Je regardais avec int\u00e9r\u00eat la vid\u00e9o de Lokan<\/a> et j’approuve totalement son avis sur cette question : si c’est pour mettre des raccourcis comme le gras ou l’italique, c’est totalement inutile. Cette machine est destin\u00e9e aux \u00ab\u00a0pros\u00a0\u00bb, comme l’\u00e9voque son nom. Cette cat\u00e9gorie de personne connait parfaitement l’utilisation des raccourcis clavier, pas besoin d’aller chercher la Touch Bar. En revanche, sur un logiciel comme Mail, pouvoir r\u00e9pondre, transf\u00e9rer, \u00e9pingler, d\u00e9placer, etc. gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette barre me para\u00eet tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant. Il va falloir quelque temps avant d’arriver \u00e0 un usage complet de cette technologie prometteuse.<\/p>\n

Le TouchID fait son apparition dans un petit coin, en haut \u00e0 droite de la machine. Bonne nouvelle, je suis tr\u00e8s fan de cette technologie. J’aime pouvoir prot\u00e9ger mon ordinateur, mes informations. Et aujourd’hui, on doit r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement pr\u00eater sa machine \u00e0 quelqu’un, etc. Avec \u00e7a, je serai plus serein alors j’approuve ! On b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie bien \u00e9videmment de la derni\u00e8re version concernant ce lecteur d’empreinte, pr\u00e9sent sur les iPhone 7.<\/p>\n

Passons ensuite \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments importants, sans rentrer dans les d\u00e9tails : l’\u00e9cran, le clavier, le poids, la taille. C’est habituel, tout a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9. L’\u00e9cran est plus lumineux et change de technologie pour notre confort. Le clavier est le dernier en date de la marque (touches papillon), pr\u00e9sent sur le MacBook et qui a en revanche \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9. Point positif car ce clavier me pla\u00eet.
\nLe poids, ind\u00e9niablement important pour un ordinateur portable, et la taille…nous cherchons toujours plus fin. Maintenant, cet ordinateur est-il v\u00e9ritablement trop fin pour accueillir des ports USB ?<\/p>\n

C’est le point n\u00e9gatif, \u00e0 mon sens, de cette nouvelle mouture. Des ports USB-C, uniquement. La nouvelle norme, puissante, qui peut accueillir l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, internet, etc. ! Ok, tr\u00e8s bien, mais le monde n’est pas encore pr\u00eat. Il va falloir renouveler, comme souvent chez Apple, les accessoires de notre machine. Impossible d’utiliser les anciens chargeurs, les anciens c\u00e2bles, pas de HDMI, pas de lecteur de carte m\u00e9moire… L’adaptateur va \u00eatre roi et c’est bien dommage. Avoir pens\u00e9 un ordinateur plus petit et plus fin…pour se tra\u00eener un bagage d’adaptateur. Bien s\u00fbr, pour s’\u00e9quiper correctement, il faut environ rajouter 100 euros, si ce n’est plus. L’abandon du MagSafe aimant\u00e9 pour recharger son ordinateur est une vraie perte aussi…<\/p>\n

\u00c9galement en moins, le logo de notre marque pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e qui s’allume derri\u00e8re l’\u00e9cran. Ou plut\u00f4t qui ne s’allume plus. Une page se tourne l\u00e0 aussi avec l’une des marques de fabric’ d’Apple. Il doit y avoir une raison \u00e0 cela, mais c’est dommage de perdre ce type de d\u00e9tail. C’est souvent ce qui fait la diff\u00e9rence. Dans la m\u00eame id\u00e9e, le bruit au d\u00e9marrage de la machine n’est plus. Cette dr\u00f4le d’habitude, qui signifiait qu’un test logiciel a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sans soucis apr\u00e8s l’allumage de sa machine, ne sera plus d’actualit\u00e9. J’aimais bien, m\u00eame si \u00e7a manquait l\u00e9g\u00e8rement de discr\u00e9tion.<\/p>\n

Apple propose dans ses nouvelles machines un disque SSD 50x plus rapide ! C’est une belle prouesse, la rapidit\u00e9 est l\u00e0 cl\u00e9 lorsqu’on travaille et je trouve la nouvelle \u00e0 la hauteur de l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement. La contrepartie, c’est le prix qui augmente, en partie \u00e0 cause de cette technologie. Par ailleurs, impossible d\u00e9passer les 512 Go. Impossible aussi de d\u00e9passer les 16 Go de RAM. C’est vraiment dommage pour une machine pro, destin\u00e9e \u00e0 du traitement d’image ou du montage vid\u00e9o. Apple explique qu’en permettant d’en ajouter, la batterie sera moins performante. Pour ma part, j’aurais pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 prendre ce risque…<\/p>\n

Je ne vais pas m’\u00e9tendre plus. Je reste perplexe, pour le moment, sur ce nouveau MacBook Pro et sa Touch Bar. Je dois commander une nouvelle machine pour mon boulot. A priori, celle-ci, mod\u00e8le 15′ boost\u00e9, mais j’h\u00e9site encore \u00e0 prendre un iMac + un MacBook ou MacBook Air… les prix ne sont pas tr\u00e8s \u00e9loign\u00e9s.
